How to Apply

Step 1

Schedule Info Session

Our program provides six years of support from your junior year high school to your early career. That’s unique. It’s how we get the results our Scholars want. Naturally, you may have questions. This Fall, you can sign up for an Info Session, to hear from our staff and get any questions answered. Info Sessions are not required, but we strongly recommend them.

Step 2

Complete Application

Submit application and supporting documents. This is your opportunity to share a bit about yourself, including academics, finances, interests, and aspirations. So you can put your best foot forward, be sure to give yourself ample time to finish the application.

Step 3

Application Review

Our team of career and college experts huddles up to consider all applications. After careful review, a select group of potential Scholars will be invited to continue the application process.

Step 4

Submit Recommendations

Those invited to continue with the process will be asked to submit additional academic and personal information, including two letters of recommendation.

Step 5

Attend Interview

Don’t worry. This is the fun part. Finalists can ask questions of the Thrive Scholars team, and we get to learn more about you. Why do you want to be a Thrive Scholar? What inspires you? What are your dreams and goals for college and beyond?

Step 6

Your Extraordinary Future Begins

If accepted, your journey to college and career success begins. You’ll get six years of support, including rigorous academic preparation, college admissions guidance, one-on-one mentoring, career skills development, and a professional network.
