Every year, thousands of high-achieving, low-income students miss out on highly selective colleges simply because they lack the guidance and professional networks of their wealthier peers.
By identifying academically driven students, encouraging them to explore Thrive Scholars, and supporting them throughout the application process, you can help open doors to top colleges, meaningful careers, and lifelong opportunities.
Connect your students to Thrive Scholars
Identify talented juniors early
Target high school juniors (with a 3.6+ GPA and household income generally under $125,000) who show exceptional academic discipline but lack “inherited college knowledge”. Look especially for first-generation college-bound students, who represent 87% of our Scholar community.
Demystify the cost — it is 100% free
Address the primary financial barrier right away. Reassure students and families that Thrive is entirely free and helps 80% of Scholars secure “no-loan” financial aid packages, allowing 79% to graduate with zero student loan debt.
Target STEM-bound achievers
Actively encourage students interested in science, tech, engineering, and math. Thrive’s intensive Summer Academy offers 200+ hours of calculus and writing instruction, boosting college STEM persistence from a 52% peer baseline up to 87%.
Engage first-generation families
Encourage parents to attend an upcoming information session. Because selective college admissions can be overwhelming for families without prior experience, our recruitment team is ready to step in and answer their questions directly.
Provide crucial school context
When completing counselor recommendations, highlight your student’s personal resilience and drive, particularly if your school has limited AP, IB, or advanced math course offerings.
Reinforce the six-year commitment
Help students understand that Thrive is not a one-time award, but a continuous runway of support through college graduation and their first two years of a professional career.
