Thrive Scholars is a free, six-year program that supports high-achieving, low-income and/or first-generation students from their junior year of high school through college graduation and into meaningful careers. Through academic preparation, personalized coaching, career development, and lifelong mentorship, Scholars gain the tools, skills and confidence to reach their full potential.

The Thrive experience begins before college and continues well beyond graduation. Every stage of the program is intentionally designed to prepare Scholars for the next milestone, building confidence, academic success, and career readiness along the way.

Preparing students before college begins
Summer Academy is where the Thrive journey truly starts.
Hosted on college campuses, Summer Academy gives Scholars a firsthand experience of college life while strengthening the academic skills they’ll need to succeed. Students take rigorous writing and math courses taught by college faculty, receive admissions guidance, explore career possibilities, and build lasting friendships with peers who share their ambition.
The results speak for themselves. After introducing Summer Academy, Scholars significantly improved their college GPA, persisted in STEM at higher rates, and graduated from college more often than comparable students.
Finding the right college fit
Every Thrive Scholar receives personalized admissions coaching to identify colleges that align with their goals, prepare competitive applications, write compelling essays, and navigate financial aid.
Today, more than 90% of Thrive Scholars attend Top 100 colleges, with many enrolling at institutions such as Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell, UCLA, USC, and dozens of other leading universities.
Support doesn’t end with acceptance.
Getting into college is only the beginning.
Throughout college, Scholars receive ongoing coaching, academic support, leadership development, and access to resources that help them overcome challenges and stay on track toward graduation.
The goal isn’t simply earning a degree. It’s graduating prepared for what’s next.
